We spent all last week camping in Utah at Pineview Lake (North of Ogden)...
So on our way back to Cali we stopped in for a visit with grandma/great grandma.
We had a great visit and the boys enjoyed talking with grandma. Chase even got to play a piano piece for grandma. This was Ezra's 1st time meeting great grandma.
As we were visiting inside, Wade (my 3 year old) just couldn't help himself... it was too tempting... he climbed on grandma's motorized chair and even figured out how to start it! My boys then reminded grandma how last time we visited she gave them a ride on her chair (of course they would remember that). So after we said our goodbyes grandma surprised the boys and came outside to give them a ride. They thought that was so cool. Wade snuck in 2 rides and on his 2nd ride, just as grandma was putting him on her lap he reached over and grabbed the controls on grandma's chair and started driving it up the grass a little. Grandma quickly gained control and all was well again. :)
Gavin and grandma
Unfortunately we just don't get to visit grandma as often as we would like to. Thank goodness for technology so that we can keep in touch other ways. We sure love you grandma and we think of you often. Thank you for your example and the legacy we are a part of. We look forward to your big 95th celebration! :) xoxo
