Dear Family,
I have just recited The Living Christ. I want you all to know how much this means to me. I know it is true. I recite it every night when I go to bed. I love it. It brings me so much peace and comfort. I will always be grateful to Mark for challenging me to learn this.
Love, Grandma

Dean, Renee, Carter, and Cayson

Hi Grandma, how are you doing? The last time you saw us was in March to wish Gary a farewell on his mission.... Since then, we have been so greatly blessed with a new baby boy- Cayson Robert Lauritzen who was born June 9, 2009, weighing in at a very healthy 8 lbs. 1oz., 20 in. long. He is such a good baby, we love him so much and so does his big brother.

Carter is such a good big brother, and he is always kissing his baby. Sometimes he gets a little too rough, but I guess that'll make Cayson tough.

At the end of April, we moved back to California and are staying with Verne and Donna until we can buy a house of our own. We are so grateful to have them and are so lucky that we can stay with them. Carter and Cayson have become quite fond of them as well. Carter calls both Verne and Donna "PAPA" and Cayson just loves his grandma and grandpa. Grandma is always there to soothe him when he is upset and Grandpa is always there to make him smile.

Just like Michelle's boys, Carter has been taking swim lessons with Donna. She is a great teacher, Carter has come so far in just a short amount of time... he is already jumping off the diving board, he can't enough of the pool.

  1. I think it is wonderful to have two little boys to be together as pals and best friends.
