Dear Family,
I have just recited The Living Christ. I want you all to know how much this means to me. I know it is true. I recite it every night when I go to bed. I love it. It brings me so much peace and comfort. I will always be grateful to Mark for challenging me to learn this.
Love, Grandma

The "Nathan" Lauritzen Fam

Hi Grandma!!

Well this is going to be so nice to keep in touch with you and everyone else too. We have been quite busy this summer but just recently moved from our Rancho condo into a house in Riverside (Orange Crest area). We love it so far, but I can't wait to get more settled...moving is such a pain.
Anyway, Makenzi is now 5 years old. She is a dancing maniac. This was her second year competing and she did awesome. She had a solo this year(the itsy bitsy spider was her song) and competed as a 4-year old because you compete your age as of January 1st. As you can imagine there were not many 4-year olds competing so she took 1st at every competition and received special awards at one regional and her national competition in Vegas. They gave her "The Itsy Bitsy Diva" award. It was really fun to watch her grow this year as a dancer and we are looking forward to doing it all over again next year. Verne has lots of pictures so hopefully I can get a hold of them and send them to you. We were lucky enough to have him come to Vegas with us for her National competition. Makenzi loved having him there, I think she felt like a movie star being photographed everyone she went...and loved every minute of it.
Lil Nate, who everyone know turned out to be...well "not so little" is 2 1/2 and let's just say a lot different from Makenzi. We love having him around keeping us very busy. We have finally learned that not everything is a ball and we don't play catch with everything we can pick up:) He will hopefully get to play t-ball or soccer very soon and use some of that energy.
Rylee is 91/2 months and almost walking. She has taken a step or two but is still a little nervous. She is a very easy-going little girl and seems to learn something new every day.
As for Nathan and I, well we obviously stay busy with the kids...our lives seem to revolve around them now of days and we wouldn't have it any other way. Both of us started a Crossfit gym in January and really love it. Nate is doing really well and is very competitive. I think he may try and compete at the Crossfit games next year if all goes well.
We are really excited to be able to catch up with everyone and see lots of pictures. I will do my best to post some soon.
Love you all...xoxo
Nate, Kris, Kenz, Bubba, and Ry
